This is not baby news but I find it somewhat relevant. Actress Natasha Richardson, mother of two, hit her head and died of brain damage. How could this happen to anyone?

I just talked to a doctor friend and he told me that the victim might feel totally fine the hour after the head injury. This is very dangerous as most people would brush it off and think that they are ok. The good news is that if the victim is aware of the situation and seek help immediately, the problem can be handled by the doctors.
